Style Shoot at the Ocean Key

Hi Lovelies,

Last year we partnered with some great vendors for a glamorous style shoot in our backyard paradise of Key West. Blueye Images in collaboration with event planner Julie Shreck from Simply You Weddings, took over the venue of Ocean Key Resort & Spa to create an enchanting wedding ceremony and reception with floral designs by Avant Gardens, and rentals provided by Prestige Party Rentals. Using ivory with hints of gold, blush, and pink, we created a romantic starlit scene. Hair stylist Marie-Pierre Sander of Studio Marie-Pierre gave our model, Agnes Labok, a seriously gorgeous look. Labok looked absolutely stunning in the Hayley Paige wedding gown.

We had so much fun working with these amazing vendors and are so proud of all the pretty that resulted. :) Our style shoot is featured on Reverie Gallery, follow the link to view the feature and the photographs.

True Love in Wynwood by way of Key West

“I’ve liked her since middle school but she always had a boyfriend,” that’s what Darry had to say when asked how he met Miss Jackie. It wasn’t until high school that Darry got his chance and they have been inseparable ever since. Jackie entered our “Win an Engagement Session” contest and when asked what her dream engagement session would look like she said she would love something unique and colorful. This couple loves music, dancing, art, and fashion. They are Key West natives but opted for a more “funky” feel. Wynwood, Miami was the perfect choice for this modern romance. Congratulations on your engagement Jackie + Darry! It was a pleasure capturing such a pure and sweet love.

Well, Hello There!!

Hi! How’s everything? No really, how is your day going? Hopefully, it is going well and you are stopping to read this with a tasty beverage of some sort (coffee, tea, maybe a mojito?) :)  Excellent!!  Today is going well in the land of Blueye Images. Busy but well. As you may have noticed Blueye Images has under gone a makeover (not the Hoda & Kathy Lee kind) but for our 10th anniversary we decided it was time for a fresh look and a new website. This has been a few months in the making but we are finally here and excited to show off what we’ve been working on. The rebranding and website have been live for just a couple weeks but we have held off on the big celebratory launch (until now) simply due to wanting all the bugs and kinks worked out (who wants to see a new blog with no posts?!). This is our first official blog post on our brand spankin’ new blog! We hope to add a few more posts this week and really get this thing rock n rollin! The latest news, happenings, and projects we’re working on will be posted here and shared, of course, via our Facebook & Instagram pages. If you aren’t already a fan come check us out there as well.
